How do you dig up real estate business – find potential buyer and seller clients – if you’re new to the business? Consider attending the Polley AssociatesBest Start one-day course, next scheduled for July 10 (2010; Saturday) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Polley’s classrooms in Newtown Square PA, outside Philadelphia.

Attendance at Best Start – a $100 value – is FREE (and who doesn’t like that word?) for Polley learners who purchased the school’s Career Start real estate pre-license course package. Those who purchased classes separately, and even those who have never tried Polley, can still attend Best Start at its regular price.

Why is the Best Start class worth taking as a new licensee? Because unlike the state Real Estate Commission‘s required Fundamentals and Practice courses, which supplied information needed to obtain a real estate sales license in Pennsylvania, Best Start offers information on how to get started and be successful in the business.

Best Start students choose by majority the topics they’d like to work on during the day. Among topics available for consideration are:

  • The Internet’s impact on the real estate business and how it affects you as an agent.
  • How to create a marketing strategy that sells your services as an agent.
  • How to choose the best marketing methods (including some that are free or cost only pennies per prospect).
  • How brokers recruit, interview and choose salespeople, and how salespeople can choose brokers.
  • How to approach and work with mentors in a real estate office. How to personally “gear up” for your future success.
  • And how to manage your real estate business, including budgeting, insurance, tax, and retirement planning.

Many Best Start participants have gone on to be top producers. Class size is limited, and advance registration is required. Learners interested in attending the course – again, it’s free to Career Start purchasers – may call Polley’s office toll-free at 800-220-2789.

Learners unable to attend the July 10 class may instead enroll for the Sept. 11 or Nov. 13 Best Start classes.
